The Lowe Create team has a remarkable ability to simultaneously manage complex projects with maximum efficiency and quality across all aspects of the bespoke design and detailed build. The recent completion of Lumiere illustrates Lowe Create’s ability to translate a project vision and architectural detail into an exceptional delivery ahead of schedule.
Lumiere joins Lowe Create’s evolving collection of completed beachside properties boasting an idyllic coastal lifestyle, including Promenade Aspendale, Linacre Park Hampton, Pescar Mordialloc, Concerto Brighton, Rothesay Elwood and Valetta Carrum.
Tim Gurry, Construction Manager at Lowe Create, explains how their strong presence in Melbourne’s most sought-after suburbs is a reflection of an esteemed reputation for impeccable design and construction expertise. “Collaboration with the design partners and Lowe Living’s Client Services team and commitment to making sure site operations run smoothly ensure every residence is completed with the utmost integrity. Delivering on the design intent as well as incorporating client’s bespoke personalisations is our key focus while providing an exceptional quality of finish.”
Lumiere residents enjoyed a concierge client service throughout their entire build. Additional pre-settlement walk-throughs enabled soon to be residents to feel proud and connected through every stage of their Lowe Living journey. “It is such a joy on handover day, to see your client’s expectations not only met, but exceeded.” said Elise Burton, Assistant Development Manager, Lowe Living.
Known for capturing the social and cultural identities of communities, Warren and Mahoney’s work strives to resonate with communities and create a sense of belonging. This principle is passionately delivered in Lumiere, where the Red Bluff cliffs of Half Moon Bay, and the ship HMVS Cerberus within its waters, were translated into the curved geometry used throughout the building and the contrasting split-faced stone cladding of the exterior.
Each of the six residences has a unique floorplan, designed with entertaining in mind. Outdoor spaces flow into the large light-filled open plan living, kitchen and dining spaces. The finishes and colour palette are inspired by the natural forms, textures, and colours reflective of Bayside. The sophisticated kitchens feature natural stone benchtops and timber veneer cabinetry and gunmetal fixtures. A large island bench in the kitchen boasts curved edges to reference the HMVS Cerberus.
Tim Lowe, Managing Director of Lowe Living and Lowe Create, explains the design intent behind Lumiere “Our corporate vision and client-first approach is at the heart of every architectural brief. For Lumiere, this meant Warren and Mahoney were tasked with ensuring our clients’ new homes in Black Rock would stand the test of time. The vision was to maximise north facing apartments and showcase great floorplan design, focused around key areas of the home such as; master, ensuite, kitchen, living & dining.”
All ground floor apartments have large courtyards with beautiful landscape design by Jack Merlo, while the first-floor apartments feature large balconies with plenty of space for outdoor furniture.
This unique series of six boutique apartments is just moments from Half Moon Bay and walking distance to Black Rock Village with its charming combination of cafes, restaurants and shops. This really is the best of Bayside living. Lumiere residents are now settled and ready to enjoy their first summer beachside.
