Lowe Living has officially commenced construction at Catani with a groundbreaking ceremony held on site at 364-366 Beaconsfield Parade, St Kilda West.

This marks a significant milestone for the project, signalling the transition from vision to reality as construction formally begins and Catani enters its next chapter.

Designed in collaboration with architect Jackson Clements Burrows, interior designer Brahman Perera and landscape architect Plume Studios, Catani has been conceived as a contemporary interpretation of St Kilda West’s rich architectural and cultural character.

The project will deliver a collection of refined residences that celebrate connection to place, design excellence and enduring quality.

Lowe Living was joined by our trusted partners JCB Architects, Brahman Perera, Plume Studios and Monark Property Group who were invited to take in the future views across Catani Gardens and the St Kilda foreshore from an elevated vantage point.

Tim Lowe, Co-Founder of Lowe Living, commented:

“Breaking ground at Catani is an exciting moment for our team and our purchasers. From the outset, our ambition has been to create a project that responds authentically to its surroundings while delivering the level of craftsmanship and quality that Lowe Living is known for.

As both developer and builder, commencing construction is particularly meaningful. It reflects the confidence we have in the project, our team and our ability to bring exceptional homes to life through our integrated approach.”

Emma Lowe, Co-Founder of Lowe Living, said:

“Catani represents our deep appreciation for the character and history of St Kilda West. Every element has been thoughtfully considered, from the architectural expression and material palette through to the resident experience and landscape design.

Working alongside Jackson Clements Burrows and Brahman Perera has allowed us to create a collection of homes that feel timeless, connected and distinctly of their place.

We are incredibly proud to see construction commence and look forward to watching the project take shape.”

Emma Lowe, Co-Founder of Lowe Living, said; “ Every single design decision from the materiality and design intent through to the furniture in the lobby and treatments we will offer in the private Aurora Spa & Bathhouse, has been considered to the most exacting degree.

Catani will deliver a limited collection of luxury residences designed to embrace bayside living, combining generous proportions, sophisticated interiors and an exceptional location within one of Melbourne’s most iconic coastal neighbourhoods.

Construction is now underway, with completion anticipated in early 2028. For private appointments at the display suite or for further information, please contact Barry Devenny on 0484 594 110.
