Celebrating topping out at Marella Hampton
Marella, Hampton has reached a significant milestone, with the project team coming together to celebrate the project reaching full structural height.
Topping out marks more than the highest point of construction. It is a moment to reflect on the precision, planning and collective effort that has brought Marella to life, and to recognise the many people behind its progress.
Since construction commenced, more than 11,000 cubic metres of soil have been excavated, 6,500 cubic metres of concrete poured and 780 tonnes of reinforcing steel installed, representing more than 38,000 working hours on site.

The milestone was celebrated alongside Marella’s project partners, consultants, trades and construction teams, including Cera Stribley, Plume, NAB, Monark Property Partners and La Trobe Financial. Together, their expertise and collaboration have shaped the project from its earliest stages.
Community is central to Marella’s vision. To mark the occasion, the project team signed the wall of Marella’s future foyer, creating a lasting record of the people and shared contribution behind the project.
Designed by Cera Stribley with landscape architecture by Plume, Marella brings a considered approach to Hampton living, shaped by natural materiality, thoughtful design and a strong connection to its coastal setting.
With construction progressing on track, the project is now moving into its next stage of construction. Marella is scheduled for completion in June 2027.
As the building continues to take shape, the vision for a refined collection of residences designed around a relaxed Hampton lifestyle is becoming increasingly tangible.
