A closer look at the Jardin House display suite
A new chapter for Lowe Living has begun in Melbourne’s east, with the opening of the Jardin House display suite at 500 Riversdale Road, Camberwell.
Our first project in Boroondara, Jardin House brings together a collection of two- and three-bedroom residences and penthouses, conceived as a connected, garden-led community within one of Melbourne’s established leafy neighbourhoods.
For Lowe Living, the project is an opportunity to bring our lifestyle and design-led approach to a new part of Melbourne while responding carefully to the character of its surroundings.
“Camberwell holds a special place in Melbourne’s east, defined by its heritage, its leafy streets and a community that takes genuine pride in where it lives,” says Tim Lowe, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Lowe Living.
“We felt a deep responsibility to honour that. Jardin House is the culmination of purposeful collaboration, uncompromising quality and design that endures.”
Designed by Tristan Wong Architecture, Jardin House draws on the architectural language of Camberwell, taking cues from the Edwardian, Art Deco and Victorian homes that shape the surrounding streets.
Inside, Hecker Guthrie has created warm, refined interiors designed around the way people live. Natural stone, timber, porcelain and natural fibres form a tactile material palette, complemented by generous proportions and three-metre-high ceilings.
“Light and landscape informed every decision, embedding a sense of wellbeing throughout the homes and Bathhouse experience,” says Hamish Guthrie, Founding Principal of Hecker Guthrie.
Landscape by Acre is equally central to the experience. More than 960sqm of pathways, sculpted planting and climbing greenery create a gradual transition from the street into the building, softening the architecture and bringing Camberwell’s established garden character into the development.

At the heart of Jardin House is a private residents-only wellness space by Aurora founder Lyndall Mitchell.
The Bathhouse is an indoor-outdoor environment inspired by traditional European bathing rituals, designed to make restoration a natural part of everyday life.
For Emma Lowe, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Lowe Living, the experience begins with the people who will eventually call Jardin House home.
“Every decision begins with the people who will call it home. We consider spaces that evolve with daily life and a community designed to nurture genuine connection,” she says.
Together, the architecture, landscape, interiors and wellness spaces create a residential experience that feels connected to its setting – considered in every detail, yet designed to feel effortless to live in.
As Lowe Living’s first project in Boroondara, Jardin House marks an important new chapter for the business and a project we’re proud to bring to Camberwell.
