Lowe Living breaks ground at Emerald Place, South Melbourne, marking a milestone in urban development

Lowe Living proudly celebrated the commencement of construction in South Melbourne with the groundbreaking ceremony for Emerald Place, hosted on site at 182-200 Clarendon St, South Melbourne. The celebration brought together Lowe Living’s key project partners and was honoured by the presence of Port Phillip Councillor, Marcus Pearl, whose leadership and steadfast commitment to community development are vital to the success of local projects. Among the partners were Development Partner, ICON Developments, and the internationally acclaimed architectural firm, Woods Bagot, whose innovative design is bringing Emerald Place to life.

Emerald Place is positioned to become a cornerstone of South Melbourne’s vibrant urban landscape, significantly contributing to the area’s ongoing progress and future growth. With construction now underway, the 9-level building is expected to be completed within the next 18 months. This development will feature six levels of 36 luxury residential apartments, complemented by 12 premium commercial tenancies across two levels, setting a new benchmark for urban living and working environments. Beyond being a major development, Emerald Place is a significant addition to South Melbourne’s urban fabric, promising to elevate the standard of luxury living while fostering community growth and prosperity.
