Developed and built by Lowe Living, Sera Brighton offers an enduring architectural design, exclusivity, and a tranquil lifestyle in Brighton. Its unique location is only a short walk from Hampton Street and Dendy Village amenities, providing the perfect balance of convenience and connection. With Sera nearing completion this Spring, Lowe Living recently opened their new onsite display apartment, presented in partnership with industry experts norsu interiors and, Antoinette Ferwerda Gallery, offering our clients the opportunity to experience what life could be like at Sera Brighton.

Alongside our philosophy of creating exceptional spaces, Sera’s new display apartment allows clients to immerse themselves in the Sera living experience. The meticulously curated styling and artwork perfectly complement the selected furniture pieces from GlobeWest, as well as the finishes and fixtures throughout the apartment, with every detail carefully crafted to align with the design vision of our project partners; renowned architects Warren and Mahoney, and interiors in collaboration with Bec Judd.

To celebrate the launch of our new display apartment, Lowe Living sat down with Founder and Artist Antoinette Ferwerda Gallery, Antoinette Ferwerda, and Co-Founder of norsu interiors, Kristy Sadler and Nat Wheeler, to understand how they approached the space with our discerning clients at the forefront of their visions, and to also share advice on how you can approach styling your own space.

Antoinette Ferwerda was engaged in the concept stage to create bespoke artwork for Sera Brighton. The collaboration between Lowe Living and Antoinette flourished from a mutual pursuit of exceptional design. Antoinette shares, “my vision for bringing the Sera display apartment to life was to complement its Brighton location, the architectural textures of brickwork and arched facades, and its sophisticated interiors. I also focused on drawing inspiration from the natural world and my own art stories, to ultimately create an inviting and tranquil retreat”.

Her advice when selecting key pieces of art for your home is to include artwork that resonates with you personally, that fit cohesively within the space and complements your furnishings. She shares, “art is subjective and very personal, bringing joy, connection, and interest to any home. A mix of artwork sizes, textures, colours and locations are all considerations when selecting key pieces for your home”.

For interior styling,  Lowe Living collaborated with norsu interiors, working closely to elevate the space by incorporating their signature style of a neutral and relaxed aesthetic. Kristy Sadlier, the Co-Founder of norsu said “the interior design of the apartment was easy to approach, with its neutral tonality and premium finishes providing a perfect base to work with. She further explains, “we also took inspiration for the colour palette from the stunning artwork by Antionette – norsu is known for our signature pastel palette, so we were careful to select objects from our collection that worked cohesively with Antoinette’s art. It was a balance to ensure the styling complimented a combination of both the finishes and the artwork. We also considered the location – being bayside – it was about getting the balance of neutral items that complimented the gorgeous finishes in the build.”

When styling your own space, norsu’s lead interior designer, Lauren Bartlett-Bragg, suggests, “work out what you love, and what objects make you feel at home. For us at norsu, it’s all about the feeling you get when you step inside your home. In the display apartment, we specifically selected objects that not only looked beautiful but also show visitors how the space will be used, and how it can be lived in.
