Oceano Hampton, developed and built by Lowe Living in collaboration with architecture firm ADDARC, seamlessly blends contemporary coastal design with the rich suburban character of Ocean Street. The development features nine modern residences, including two luxury penthouses, that embody the essence of Bayside living. ADDARC’s thoughtful design approach emphasises the arrival experience, guiding residents through a landscaped entry to a naturally lit lobby, where first impressions are both functional and uplifting. “Oceano is about creating a sense of permanence and connection to its surroundings, with every detail thoughtfully considered,” says Rohan Appel, Director of ADDARC.
Each residence is elevated by curated materiality and refined detailing by Bec Judd, our interior consultant on the project, with bespoke metalwork trims that echo the architectural finesse. Described as ‘textural,’ Oceano showcases a rhythmic interplay of brick piers, textured courtyard walls, and fine-grain balustrades, creating dynamic patterns and movement as sunlight shifts across the façade, offering a lifestyle that is elegant, grounded, and deeply connected to Bayside living.
Bec Judd’s design influence on Oceano Hampton is a masterful blend of bold architectural strength and refined interior luxury. In her second collaboration with Lowe Living, Bec has crafted residences that harmoniously balance masculine exterior lines with warm, inviting interiors. Premium materials like Grey Tundra natural stone, 2Pac V-groove panelling, and handmade glazed tiles add textural depth, while sleek gunmetal handles, premium Miele appliances, and fully integrated fridges elevate both style and functionality. A standout feature is the walk-in scullery, which seamlessly combines storage and practicality.
“The custom mirror is one of my favourite elements,” Bec shares. “Its graceful, curved design perfectly complements the wall sconces. The gunmetal fixtures tie the indoor and outdoor aesthetics together, creating a seamless connection.” From the striking exterior to the thoughtfully crafted interiors, Oceano Hampton embodies a sophisticated fusion of power and comfort, perfectly reflecting Bec’s vision of a space that is both elegant and welcoming.

This approach ensures everything feels natural, embedded, and harmonious,” says Landscape Architect Florian Wild. Each apartment at Oceano Hampton has been thoughtfully designed to maximise its connection to the garden landscape, thanks to the expert team at Florian Wild. Through expansive ground-floor courtyards or elevated residences featuring integrated planters within the balustrades, floor-to-ceiling windows enhance this connection, blurring the line between indoors and outdoors while framing views of lush landscaped gardens and established canopy trees.
