The latest and highly sought-after project in Lowe Living’s extensive collection of medium-density residences offers a new wave of coastal perfection in the heart of Hampton. Alongside architectural practice ADDARC, with interiors designed in collaboration with Bec Judd and landscaping crafted by Florian Wild, Lowe Living presents an exclusive collection of nine luxury apartments – Oceano Hampton.

Sophistication and sensitivity to a site’s legacy is a powerful driver behind every Lowe Living project. We are dedicated to producing homes of exceptional design and superb craftsmanship that not only deliver enduring enjoyment for our discerning clients but also enhance and respect the history and natural beauty of their location. This is why the selection of industry-leading partners for each project is based not only on calibre but proven experience in similar local precincts along with suitability to the site.

Located on leafy Ocean Street in Hampton – only moments from the gourmet and boutique luxuries of Hampton’s main precinct and the coastal charm of Hampton Beach – Oceano’s contemporary residences, including two luxury penthouses, embody the very essence of Bayside living.

Architecturally designed by boutique practice ADDARC, the exteriors of Oceano balance statement brickwork with bold graphite sunscreens and stucco rendering, creating a contemporary, refined, and timeless project in which each individual residence has been created and considered as an individual dwelling. ADDARC Director, Rohan Appel, shares,

Ocean Street contains an eclectic mix of materials, including masonry, weatherboard and rendered forms. Our vision for Oceano was to complement the surrounding context, using familiar materials in contemporary applications. The feature bricks, used in varying formats such as stackbond, vertical headers and hit and miss brickwork, amplify the textural quality of the material.”

Landscape architect Florian Wild has been engaged to bring the landscaping to life, establishing an experiential, evocative sanctuary that will complement the striking built form and respond to the distinguished bayside locality.

“Oceano’s landscape is the very fabric that weaves the address together – marrying individual spaces in a way that reinforces the narrative of the entire building. This way, everything feels natural, embedded and consistent”, says Rubert Baynes-Williams, Principal at Florian Wild.

Oceano marks the second project collaboration for Lowe Living with iconic Australian figure, Bec Judd. Speaking on her interior inspiration for Oceano, Bec shares that her goal was to blend a sophisticated form and coastal sensibility, complementing the impressive external façade and creating richly textured and inviting interior that instantly felt like home.

“ The intention was for Oceano’s interiors to beautifully juxtapose the bold exterior with a soft aesthetic that feels luxurious, cosy and sophisticated. I wanted to establish a design flair that felt unique to this address,” said Judd.

“ The project departs from a typical beachside aesthetic with earthy finishes and an industrial-inspired façade, while the interiors are led by a warm, inviting interior palette that is responsive to the soft natural surrounds of the gardens and landscaping,” Bec said.

Lowe Living’s Managing Director, Emma Lowe, speaks to the ease of working collaboratively with Bec and the project team, noting that a shared vision and passion led to the delivery of a conscious, contemporary development that integrates seamlessly with its bayside locality.

“ Bec’s natural design ability and unique, considered style has resulted in interiors that are effortlessly sophisticated yet welcoming, perfectly achieving our design vision and bringing an exclusive offering to market that is clearly resonating with our desired demographic, with only five Oceano residences remaining for purchase.

“Lowe Living is passionate about delivering iconic and timeless spaces, and Oceano is another example of how Lowe Living is offering uncompromising luxury, coastal charm and modern comfort in one of Melbourne’s most aspirational suburbs,” she said.

Located a stone’s throw from Hampton Village and a 7-minute walk from Hampton Beach, Oceano promises an elevated standard of modern living. Oceano will feature a limited number of two and three-bedroom residences starting from $1.63M, with the two luxury penthouses and two apartments already sold.

An exceptional response has seen over 40% of the project sold prior to launching. For more information and to register your interest or arrange an appointment, please click here.
