Unveiling Sera Brighton’s new design release by Bec Judd

Leveraging our unrivalled expertise and unreserved passion, we join our partners on a collaborative journey underpinned by integrity and respect. Together, we craft iconic spaces of timeless quality that set new standards for design, creativity and innovation. Our latest partnership with iconic Australian figure, Bec Judd, harnesses this ethos to deliver the latest design release of Sera Brighton.

Following Lowe Living’s recent announcement on our collaboration with iconic Australian figure, TV presenter and brand ambassador, Bec Judd, we’re proud to unveil the final interiors release of Sera Brighton, exclusively designed by Bec herself.

Located on the corner of Pine and Hampton Streets in Brighton, Sera is the first of our two exclusive Bayside projects that Bec is collaborating on over the coming months, bringing her unique style and eye for interior design to a multi-residential interiors project, after completing a string of successful high-end residential home renovations in recent years.

Externally, the project has been architecturally designed by international architects Warren & Mahoney to feature a striking arched exterior accentuated by artisan white brickwork and striking bronze detailing, with Jack Merlo engaged to create the lush cascading landscaping throughout.

Complementing the building’s stunning exteriors and architectural elegance, Bec Judd has been engaged to design the interiors of the final Sera release, creating a signature joinery, materials and finishes package that enhances the existing floorplans.

Bec has selected a timeless Tundra Natural Stone that hails from Turkey as the feature stone throughout the interiors, accompanied by soft timber detailing and in-built feature joinery, such as the custom profiled doors in a premium 2pac finish. Curved timber lines intersect with the sharp mitred stone edges to create the perfect balance of crisp, clean lines, and curvilinear forms.

I wanted to connect the striking external façade to the interiors to give a sense of holistic design. The exterior arched detail is subtly repeated internally with the use of a curved leg on the kitchen island, curved joinery elements, a feature arch-like stone handle on the tv joinery and a gorgeous dome-shaped wall light,” said Judd.

“ Warm, neutral tones with a complementary mix of stones, timbers and tiles really elevate the spaces to feel luxe yet welcoming, sophisticated but unpretentious. The soft tonal palette gives the interiors a relaxed, calming ambience.

“ I very much wanted to design interiors that were warm, inviting, textural and of a sophisticated yet relaxed vibe,” Judd said.

Lowe Living founder and Managing Director, Tim Lowe said Bec Judd’s eye for detail, and her impeccable taste in materials and bespoke joinery, alongside her innate understanding of the unique Bayside lifestyle, made her the perfect collaborator for the project.

“ We have known Bec for many years and have always appreciated her knowledge of interior design and how a beautiful space can make people feel. Working with Bec to bring the interiors of this final Sera release to life seems like a natural fit for us. We gave Bec an open brief to bring the interiors into harmony with the surrounds and what she has created is a beautiful, timeless sanctuary,” said Tim.

In line with our commitment to deliver an elevated lifestyle in Melbourne’s most desirable locations, Sera has been designed as an effortless and serene architectural expression of Brighton and the nearby Dendy Village. Cult café and bakery, Rustica, has recently been confirmed to anchor the base of the building, bringing one of Melbourne’s best coffee and bread houses to Brighton.

The final Sera release, designed by Bec Judd, features a limited number of two and three-bedroom residences starting from $1,295,000. For more information or to register your interest, please click here.
