Lowe Living supports Very Special Kids AFL Footy Fever fundraising event, raising over $450,000
At Lowe Living, we believe meaningful contribution extends far beyond the homes we create. It lives in the relationships we build, the communities we are part of and the organisations we choose to stand alongside. Our ongoing partnership with Very Special Kids is an important part of that commitment.
Members of the Lowe Living team joined the Very Special Kids community for the Footy Finals Fever fundraising event at Sofitel Melbourne on Collins, bringing together the energy of footy season with an opportunity to make a meaningful difference for children and families in need.
Hosted by David Schwartz and David King, the 2026 luncheon brought together an outstanding line-up of AFL voices, with Chris Judd, Dyson Heppell, Mike Sheahan and Mark Robinson taking part in a special panel discussion.
The afternoon offered plenty of insight and entertainment, from stories and perspectives from some of the game’s most respected names to a two-course menu curated by chef Shane Delia. But at the heart of the event was a much more important purpose.
The afternoon raised an extraordinary $450,000 to support Very Special Kids and its work with children and young people living with life-limiting conditions, as well as the families who care for them.

For Lowe Living, the partnership is about more than showing up for one event. It is a relationship built over time and grounded in shared values of compassion, dignity and unwavering support.
Very Special Kids provides specialist care, counselling and support to families facing unimaginable circumstances. It is a cause that continues to resonate deeply with our team, and one we are proud to support through fundraising, participation and ongoing advocacy.
We are grateful to everyone who contributed to making Footy Finals Fever such a memorable afternoon, and especially to the Very Special Kids team for the extraordinary work they do every day.
