Known for capturing the social and cultural identities of communities, Warren and Mahoney’s work strives to resonate with communities and create a sense of belonging. This principle is passionately delivered in Lumiere, where the Red Bluff cliffs of Half Moon Bay, and the ship HMVS Cerberus within its waters,were translated into the curved geometry used throughout the building and the contrasting split-faced stone cladding of the exterior.
Each of the six residences has a unique floorplan, designed with entertaining in mind. Outdoor spaces flow into the large light-filled open plan living, kitchen and dining spaces. The finishes and colour palette are inspired by the natural forms, textures, and colours reflective of Bayside. The sophisticated kitchens feature natural stone benchtops and timber veneer cabinetry and gunmetal fixtures. A large island bench in the kitchen boasts curved edges to reference the HMVS Cerberus.

For Lumiere, this meant Warren and Mahoney were tasked with ensuring our clients’ new homes in Black Rock would stand the test of time. The vision was to maximise north facing apartments and showcase great floorplan design, focused around key areas of the home such as; master, ensuite, kitchen, living & dining.”
