Step inside the world of Oceano Hampton, developed and built by Lowe Living, in collaboration with Interior Consultant Bec Judd. This celebrates Bec’s second collaboration with Lowe Living, where her visionary design has been impeccably realised in this iconic project. Renowned for her ability to blend bold architecture with refined interior luxury, Bec has crafted spaces that seamlessly combines strength, comfort, and modern elegance.
Oceano Hampton embodies the perfect fusion of bold, masculine exterior architecture and warm, inviting interiors. This interplay of strength and subtlety is evident throughout, with every design choice offering a seamless balance of form and function that enhances the living experience.
“Oceano was about creating living spaces where contrasting elements—strong architectural lines and soft, inviting interiors—work in harmony,” says Bec. “It’s a celebration of both power and comfort, offering a sophisticated yet welcoming environment.”
A standout feature is the custom joinery bar unit, designed with versatility in mind. In this setting, it functions as a bar, complete with a cool drawer for beverages. ‘I love how this unit combines entertaining and styling purposes,’ Bec notes. ‘It’s luxurious yet highly functional, offering ample space for both practical use and a creative display. Additionally, it doubles as a showcase for art and decorative items, elevating the room’s elegance while concealing hidden compartments.’
Bec’s hallmark design principle of seamlessly integrating and concealing technology is evident in the custom TV unit, which cleverly conceals the television to maintain a clean, uncluttered aesthetic. “Hiding the TV keeps the space sophisticated,” she explains. “It’s about balancing form and function.”
In the main bedroom, the wardrobes are both practical and luxurious, finished in a coastal oak timber grain that creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere. “The wardrobe feels like an extension of the room’s character,” says Bec, “it’s designed for everyday living, offering both style and function.”
The ensuite exemplifies refined comfort, with V-groove panelling, large-format porcelain tiles, strategically placed wall sconces, and luxury tundra benchtops. The coastal oak veneer, which echoes the wardrobe design, reinforces a cohesive aesthetic.
“The custom mirror is one of my favourite elements,” Bec shares. “Its graceful, curved design reminds me of a butterfly, complementing the wall sconces beautifully. The gunmetal fixtures tie the indoor and outdoor aesthetics together, creating a seamless connection.”
